چکیده

Electrodeposited iridium oxide (K1.7IrO0.8 (OH)2.2 × 1.8 H2O; also called IrOx) is among the best substrates for neural growth, decreasing impedance and stimulating cell when used as a connected electrode. Without direct contact, it has been proven to stimulate neurons through bipolar mechanism related conducting character of material in presence remote electric fields. The wireless electrostimulation that arises from large significance clinical applications. Ionic intercalation simultaneous with oxidation state changes at induced IrOx cathode formation redox ionic gradient substrate envisaged most probable explanation observed effects on growth. This work shows using X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) significant electrochemical features relaxation times allow persistent effect even after field creating dipole switched off. It correlated intercalated sodium gradients by semiquantitative energy-dispersive (EDX) analysis data. yields new evidence behavior other biocompatible growth substrates.

Fabrication of gradient polymer surfaces using bipolar electrochemistry

This report focuses on recent developments using bipolar electrochemistry as an effective tool for the fabrication of gradient polymer surfaces. The electrochemical doping and reactions of conducting polymers under an applied potential distribution using bipolar electrodes have been carried out to prepare conducting polymers with composition gradients. Indirect electrolysis using an electrogene...

Evaluation of X-Ray Absorption by Ointment Containing Bismuth Oxide Nanoparticles in Radiology Staff

Introduction: The effects of X-rays on carcinogens have been proven in recent years. Today, lead is used in many devices such as lead covers, thyroid protectors to protect the body against x-rays. But this equipment contains many disadvantages such as, Toxicity, High weight and Lack of flexibility. Today, newer methods, such as semi-solid skin care products (cream, ointment), a...

Arsenite oxidation by a poorly crystalline manganese-oxide. 2. Results from X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.

Arsenite (As(III)) oxidation by manganese oxides (Mn-oxides) serves to detoxify and, under many conditions, immobilize arsenic (As) by forming arsenate (As(V)). As(III) oxidation by Mn(IV)-oxides can be quite complex, involving many simultaneous forward reactions and subsequent back reactions. During As(III) oxidation by Mn-oxides, a reduction in oxidation rate is often observed, which is attri...

Characterization of an amorphous iridium water-oxidation catalyst electrodeposited from organometallic precursors.

Upon electrochemical oxidation of the precursor complexes [Cp*Ir(H(2)O)(3)]SO(4) (1) or [(Cp*Ir)(2)(OH)(3)]OH (2) (Cp* = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), a blue layer of amorphous iridium oxide containing a carbon admixture (BL) is deposited onto the anode. The solid-state, amorphous iridium oxide material that is formed from the molecular precursors is significantly more active for water-oxidatio...

extremal region detection guided by maxima of gradient magnitude

a problem of computer vision applications is to detect regions of interest under dif- ferent imaging conditions. the state-of-the-art maximally stable extremal regions (mser) detects affine covariant regions by applying all possible thresholds on the input image, and through three main steps including: 1) making a component tree of extremal regions’ evolution (enumeration), 2) obtaining region ...
